Personal Pronouns

In English, I, you, he, she, it, we and they are the subject personal pronouns used to replace names of the people or things that perform actions. The pronoun you can be singular or plural.

Example:  Juliana dances samba. =  She dances samba.
                 Jefferson and David play guitar. = They play guitar.

We also use me, you, him, her, it, us and them as object personal pronouns to substitute the names of the people or things that are affected by an action.

Example: Anne loves samba. = She loves it.
                Peter calls Anne. = Peter calls her
